O-rings and seals prevent the loss of gas and fluids from the their containers during storage. In addition to 913 standard AS568 size O-rings, Southern Rubber provides hundreds of non-standard and metric size O-rings. You may request any of our 250 standard O-ring compounds. We also offer Parker’s Chromassure Colored O-rings which give positive compound identification. All of our O-rings are available with CBI certification.

When choosing an O-ring for your needs it is important to consider: 

• Possible interactions between the material of the O-ring and the liquid or gas which it may come in contact with
• The pressure that will be applied to the O-ring
• The range of temperatures to which the O-ring will be exposed
